John and his crew did a wonderful job as he said he would. They repaired my roof and the small roof over the 2nd floor windows where it was leaking badly due to heavy rain & winds had 12/17/2023. I called on the 20th, he came out on the 22nd for an estimate and gave me a great price. On the 26th the job was started and finished. John goes out his way to make the customers happy by calling the customer while working on their project to update you of whats going on. He does extra task and does not charge you for it ( Like a lot of other contractors do)... john and his crew goes above and behind for the customer. I APPRECIATE THESE GUYS and DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS...... GREAT JOB GUYS, THANKS AGAIN.... P.S.# I will definitely be using these guys again on other task and other properties....

I highly recommend A1 Action. John was very thorough in analyzing our leaking roof from outside and inside the house, took pictures for me too. He gave us a great, competitive price. The second generation on the ladder
A1 Action Contractors was started in 2010 and has been run out of Orange by the same family ever since. It passed to the second generation five years ago, and the work has not changed: roofing, siding, chimney work, masonry and gutters, on houses and on commercial buildings. Plenty of the houses around here are eighty or a hundred years old, so we are used to finding soft sheathing behind old siding and a crumbling crown on top of a chimney. We tell you about it before we cover it back up.
Five trades, one crew
Everything on the outside of the house, done by the same people. Houses and commercial buildings both.
Roofing
Shingle and flat roof replacements, and repairs when a replacement is not what the roof needs. We strip the old roof, look at the deck underneath, and replace anything soft before the new roof goes on.

Siding
New siding, trim and soffit on houses that have run out of paint jobs. Whatever is rotten underneath gets replaced first, then the house is wrapped and sided properly.

Chimney
Chimneys taken down and rebuilt in new brick, new crowns and caps, flashing and liners. Most chimney leaks start at the crown or where the flashing meets the roof, and both of those are fixable.

Can a roof be repaired instead of replaced?
Often, yes. When the water is coming in around a chimney, a pipe or a valley, a repair is usually the right call. When the shingles themselves have gone, patching one section just moves the problem along the roof. We will tell you which one you are looking at.
